As a 3rd generation Calgarian, I did not grow up in a Christian home. I came to know the Lord while in High school, by becoming involved with individuals from the Youth ministries at First Alliance Church. I was fortunate to be discipled by a couple of those high school youth (DF & HP), and be involved in the youth and young adult ministries during those years. I became involved with Youth For Christ as a counsellor at Frontier Lodge and believe that is when I heard my call into ministry. I graduated from Canadian Bible College, served several years full time with Youth for Christ, was married and had 3 kids and served as a youth Pastor. Today, I am still married, still have only 3 kids, and operate my own business here in Leduc. I have been on or involved with several church boards and ministries, leading men's ministries, and tried to pursue a discipleship focus. Now I also serve as p/t Community Pastor in overseeing small group and men's ministries here at LAC (that's what happens when you respond to call of the Holy Spirit). I enjoy pursuing a discipleship lifestyle, recumbent cycling, spicy/savory foods and reading and watching SCI FI. If you want go deeper, call me and we can go for a coffee.
P.S. As an interesting side note; the two guys that discipled me in High school and myself, are all presently engaged in vocational pastoral ministry. Discipleship really works, Thanks Lord!!
