All volunteers involved in children and youth ministries are required to complete the Plan To Protect course which was developed by a national committee of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

This training involves the policies and procedures designed to protect children, youth and staff. As examples; the ratio of staff to children relevant to each age grouping, procedures for infant care, procedures for off-site travel.  It also requires all staff to complete applications with references and a criminal record search.  Annual recertification is necessary.

These procedures are put in place to promote safety for all children and volunteers alike.
